can anybody demonstrably explain the pros and cons of Stand alone Digital mixers vs. Computer clumsily based hardware/sofware.
I use a Labtop g3 400 htz. mac w/firewire and a Blue&White G3 Desktop 350 htz. Have a cdburner Podxt Pro Bass Pod Pro various guitar amps shure 57 and 58 mics(thermostatically need a good pre amp with digital out) Peavey XR2012 1200 watt pa mixer 12 in. peavey monitors
Need a lot more gear that I am slowely desperately working towards... At the same time plan on recodring live 3 piece rock and adding additional tracks of voice guitar etc.... as well as other sm persaonal projects. interested in the roland v-1880 or Motu 896 Firewire
