Hey Folks - any help would be great in this matter. I have recorded tracks for a small one band label. Never signed a contract, never signed away rights, never got paid. over 2 years have gone by, they won't honor the bill I sent, so I'd like to consider options:
1) "cease and desist" - can I legally keep the label from using my tracks/photo's/name on the already pressed and copywritten and being sold album?
2) Would small claims court be of any use to attempt to get paid the $1600 bill I gave the label, in which they refused and sent back a "points" contract which is worth nothing, as the album has not made a dime. Still paying off loan for recording.
3) other ideas?

thanks!

Hi DGODrummer, welcome to the forum I think that without a contract you have little ground to stand on. Why didn't you guys sign a contract back then?
