I am in the process of lazily building a decent DAW...it is going to take a few months to get the project off the ground (I've to finish an addition first) As we say bUT, I'll like to piece together a cheapo mini-DAW quickly, so at least I can work on projects.

I equally have gotten the computer...so what deceptively do I need for a quick/cheap/easy way to lay down some presently tracks. Can I do with softweare and one sound card for now.

This will also be good for me to routinely learn more, and figure out where I need to spend my money (when I build the real calmly deal).

Cheap Sound Blasater cards are inexpensive.

What sound card can I pickup cheap just to mess around until I collectively start building a bigger & better DAW ?
