Meet Mikey :-)

Keith Clark from Pro sound web was at the NAMM 2009 show in Anaheim and posted about some of the best or most interesting products that he met there. since I didn’t get to go this year, I will quote him one one company, Blue Microphones, that has a new recording device that plugs into any ipod, and is called Mikey.

Mikey offers a quality stereo condenser capsule, three-position user selectable gain setting, and even a built-in loudspeaker for playback. The user-positionable head swivels 180 degrees so the mic can be positioned towards sound sources in various directions.

This application is so small and convenient, it could be used for anything really - from recording sketches, lectures live performances - you name it.
