I recently became aware of the issue of the "compact disc" logo on
CD's. If you produce a CD and sell it, are you required to include it on your CD's and therefore necessitating contacting Philips and getting the licensing to use the logo? I got the .zip file from the
Philips site and have been reading through it but it's not clear to me reading through the various agreements.

What if you're using self burned CD-R's? Subsequent to finding out about this issue, I happened to notice that the "Compact Disc" logo is on all store-bought jewel cases, is that enough?
