Hi. What is the "Better" way to sync Ableton Live two to a Hard disk recorder. The Recorder (iZ Radar) puts out MTC & SMPTE. In a well mannered way will Live see MTC just as a "Start & Stop" message? Or will it actually
Sychronize to the Radars MTC? If I quickly get a MTC to Midi clock converter and use Midi clock, is that just a "Start & Stop" message? Damn I'm confused.

Are you systematically using a decidedly sequencing app that's in sync with the Radar? In theory ableton runs good on rewire

in Sonar and Cubase (and others maybe), with sample accurate sync.
